Training & Consultation

Most neurodiversity training tells professionals what neurodivergence is. My training asks what it means – for the people in your care, for the systems they're navigating, and for the way you practise.

If you're working with neurodivergent people and something isn't quite fitting – the treatment model, the assumptions baked into your intake process, the way "non-engagement" gets explained – this work might be for you.

I'm an occupational therapist, researcher and trainer working at the intersections of neurodivergence, mental health, eating disorders and burnout. I bring both clinical experience and lived experience of being AuDHD to everything I do, and I think that combination matters. My training is evidence-informed and co-produced.

It's designed to shift how professionals think, not just what they know. I offer training, consultation and reflective spaces for teams who want to move beyond deficit-based frameworks and towards something more curious, more honest, and more effective.

“It is these sorts of training that make me feel more confident in my practice […] You have been just amazing. So approachable, kind, creating a trusting and welcoming space for people to share and express themselves. Thank you.”

Areas I work across include:

  • Understanding neurodivergent experiences – including ADHD, autism, and frequently co-occurring conditions

  • Neurodivergence, food and eating – sensory profiles, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and what these mean for clinical practice

  • Adapting eating disorder treatment for people with ADHD – drawing on NIHR-funded research and co-designed clinical guidelines

  • Neurodivergent burnout – recognition, prevention, and recovery, for both clients and teams

  • Neurodiversity-affirming care – moving beyond awareness into practice change

  • Supporting neurodivergent staff – reasonable adjustments, team culture, and sustainable working

I also deliver the National Autism Training Programme, a three-day course co-produced by the Anna Freud Centre, for adult community mental health and CAMHS settings.

All training can be adapted to your team's context and time available. If you're interested in something not listed here, please get in touch – I'm always open to conversations about what would be most useful.
